At Vertigo Games I had the pleasure working on this epic VR
co-op FPS set in the ice-covered ruins of 80s LA. I worked as both Game Designer and Level Designer on ATF. I was responsible for designing the enemies and enemy encounter systems while applying my level design knowledge to the game's harvest runs. I also contributed to the narrative design and helped create the character Luna Gonzales who directs the players on their mission. Regarding post-launch content I was responsible for designing the Hollywood Boulevard harvest run. I implemented and balanced the newly added Charger and Gunner enemies. And lastly, I also wrote and directed the President's speech used in the newly released Downtown map. |

Ravi Janssen Senior Level Designer at Vertigo Games Nick and I worked together on After the Fall, working on the game's levels together, where each one would be more amazingly creatively inspiring than the previous one. He would also often show his strong core skills in other areas of the design, having a very keen and critical eye when it comes to broader game design as a whole. But, what I've always found most admirable about Nick is his passion and dedication towards the project, the company, and his colleagues, which has been unmatched, and I will miss having around in the future! |
